Note: All accredited journalists are expected to comply with this Code of Ethics as provided by the Journalists Accreditation Board.

Respect privacy, protect vulnerable persons, and avoid unnecessary intrusion or harm, especially in sensitive cases.

Protect confidential sources where required by professional duty and law, and avoid exposing sources without compelling public interest.

Be accountable to the public, disclose corrections clearly, and uphold transparent and responsible newsroom practices.

Minimize harm in reporting, avoid hate speech and incitement, and apply sensitivity in matters involving tragedy, violence, or children.

Serve the public interest above all, uphold democratic values, and support informed participation through credible journalism.
