To establish links with similar organizations within and outside the United Republic.
Prepare training for journalists
In consultation with the Council, to prepare training for journalists.
Maintain a roll of accredited journalists
To maintain a roll of accredited journalists.
Administer Board accounts & assets
To administer the accounts, assets and liabilities of the Board.
Carry out other directed functions
To carry out such other functions as the Minister may direct.

Powers
Establish such number of committees as may be necessary for the better carrying out of its functions.
